THE STORY SO FAR

Team Project Run was established in 2017 by Head Coach Lloyd Kempson. The vision is to help you reach your personal goals with bespoke training and in doing so help you understand the mental, physical and social benefits that exercise can bring.

We see too many people who would love the idea of starting a new exercise regime falling at the first hurdle, by not actually knowing what to do or where to start. From that point, you could hire a personal trainer for £30-50 per hour and follow the cardio sessions that are instructed, or buy the latest edition of a fitness magazine and follow their tips. All in the hope that you can run your parkrun a little quicker than last month or shave off a few pounds over a sustained amount of time.

What we do is break down each and every element of your training, so it is completely specific to you. By focusing on your personal progression, we can achieve the best results, physically, mentally and socially.

A factor close to our hearts is the relationship between the coach and the individual, which is essential to success. Regardless of your ability or exercise history, a coach is more than someone giving you the workouts to do. Our head coach, Lloyd, will build on coaching influences he has learned from his travels around the world, which have taught and developed his holistic approach to training. We can help you learn how to run, how to run faster, how to lift correctly, how to eat to enhance performance and maximize recovery and also how to be a better person and enjoy a healthy life balance.

Lloyd will provide the coaching, support and motivation using his international experiences as an elite athlete, backed by a UK Athletics Level 3 Endurance Coaching Badge and Level 3 Strength and Conditioning Coach Qualification.
